Miller Household Survey 2022-2023

Project description

CHETRE has conducted random household surveys in the Miller community since 1999. The initial 1999 survey assessed community needs and service use for the Wellbeing in the Valley project, which later became The HUB Community Health Centre, managed by South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) Primary and Community Health from 2000 to 2016. From 2002, four surveys (2002, 2005, 2007, and 2010) informed the Community 2168 project, a major renewal and capacity-building partnership aimed at improving services, facilities, and opportunities in the 2168 postcode area. This project was funded by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, SWSLHD, Liverpool City Council, and the UNSW Sydney Research Centre for Primary Health Care & Equity. The 2022-2023 Miller Household Survey focused on service usage and satisfaction, amenity and community issues, trust, solidarity, sense of community, perceptions and experiences of crime and safety, perceptions of health and wellbeing, and perceptions of change in the community.
