  • Delivering Outreach Services to People Experiencing Homelessness Scoping Review: Summary Report

    Reporting findings from a scoping review exploring outreach health services to people experiencing homelessness.

    In general, the literature recommends services use blended approaches tailored to the needs of the local population within the scope of available resources; in other words, a mix of different sites (fixed vs. mobile) and different appointment types (fixed vs drop-in) are required to engage users and break down barriers to care.

    Report presents overarching lessons learnt, recommendations and summarises the main intervention models.

  • Infection Control, Transport Workers, and the Supply Chain

    The Transport Education Audit Health Compliance Organisation Ltd. (TEACHO) commissioned a research study in November 2022 focusing on infection transmission within the transport industry, along with an assessment of the impact of movement restrictions, including border closures. In response the Centre for Health Equity Training, Research and Evaluation (CHETRE), University of New South Wales (UNSW), with a team of experts from UNSW and Sydney University, undertook a multi-stage research project investigating the risks, transmission dynamics, training solutions, and implications for the transport industry
