Evaluating the Implementation and Effectiveness of the Memoranda of Understanding between SWSLHD and Local Councils Phase 2
This two-part project evaluated the implementation and effectiveness of Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between SWSLHD and four Local Councils (Fairfield, Liverpool, Wollondilly and Campbelltown). This report is the second phase of this project, summarizing the findings from stakeholder interviews and an updated document review.

Infection Control, Transport Workers, and the Supply Chain
The Transport Education Audit Health Compliance Organisation Ltd. (TEACHO) commissioned a research study in November 2022 focusing on infection transmission within the transport industry, along with an assessment of the impact of movement restrictions, including border closures. In response the Centre for Health Equity Training, Research and Evaluation (CHETRE), University of New South Wales (UNSW), with a team of experts from UNSW and Sydney University, undertook a multi-stage research project investigating the risks, transmission dynamics, training solutions, and implications for the transport industry

Peer review health assessment of Draft EIS Western Sydney Airport – Airspace and Flight path design
An independent review of the health effects of aircraft noise in the draft EIS and measures to protect health. For consideration by others wishing to comment on the draft EIS by end January 2024. By Stephen Conaty and Patrick Harris, with a supporting literature review by Kunza Rehman.

Evaluation of the Learning by Doing Courses for CHETRE and SWSLHD
The findings of the evaluation first attempted to confirm that the courses were LBD, and if so, were they consistent with a ‘best practice’ LBD approach.
